There are only a few companies left in the world who can process these natural materials with the traditionally required properties and the moisture absorption required to make the classical wool felts.
At the same time, the traditional production methods are constantly being optimised and adapted to the demands of industry.

In addition to the various types of sheep wool, felt mixtures are produced using viscose fibres.
Technical wool felts are tested according to DIN standard 61206. Depending on the required specific gravity and thickness, the wool felt material is produced in standard widths between 100 and 180 cm.
