BWF is the perfectionist among the felt producers. The location at Hof looks back to a long tradition as a producer of wool felts. Today there are only few firms who can process this natural raw material. The traditional production methods of wool felt were further optimized and adapted to the continuously increasing demands of industry.

In addition, BWF Hof has specialized in industrial needle felts needlona®. Already in the middle of the six-ties the advantages of this three-dimensional, synthetic needle felt for industrial applications were recognized.

In cooperation with our customers, technical felts were developed which are custommade precisely for the individual application.

By continual development and by many years of experience BWF Engineered Felt Division, plant Hof are worldwide established as specialist for manufacturing with recognised trade fibres and special high-tech fibres.

The new BWF brochure "Our Fibes in Profile" features a selection with typicalcharacteristic of used natural fibres, synthetic fibres as far as metal fibres. Moreover other special fibres can be manufactured if required.
